SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our website or subscribe to our services, as part of the buying, selling, and enrollment process, we collect the personal information you give us (such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information) to serve you better and deliver our digital educational products. When you browse our website or access our platform, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address and device data in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser, operating system, and geographic region to optimize our security measures. Email Marketing & Communication; By signing up, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you agree to receive transactional and marketing emails about our company, our courses, market summaries, and other relevant financial education updates. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the "unsubscribe" link provided in our emails or by emailing us ‘Unsubscribe’. Identity & Payment Verification Data: If you voluntarily submit a government-issued identification document (ID) or a partial photograph of your payment card (showing only the cardholder name and the last 4 digits of the card number) to verify your student account for promotions, coupons, special codes, graduation certification, or fraud prevention, we collect this data solely for identity verification and security clearance. We do not use this verification data for marketing, nor do we share it with third parties, except as required by law.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, join a membership tier, or submit verification documents, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific operational reason, as well as for associated account administration and delivery of services. For marketing communications, consent is established via the terms outlined in Section 1, and you retain the right to opt out at any time. How do I withdraw my consent? If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, or for the continued collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Exception; Data required for regulatory compliance, financial transaction records, tax purposes, legal defense, or active debt collection cannot be altered or removed upon request and will be retained as required by law and platform capabilities.
SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so, if required by regulatory authorities, or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - PLATFORM AND DATA HOSTING
Our online educational platform, checkout systems, and student data storage are hosted across secure infrastructure providers, including Thinkific.com, Patreon, and our designated marketing automation platform, Content Creator Machine (CCM). Your data is stored through their respective data storage systems, secure databases, and general application layers. All providers store your data on secure servers behind industry-standard firewalls. Payment Processing; Direct payment gateways and financing options utilized by the Company include Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and Afterpay. The Company does not directly store or view your full credit card data. All financial transactions are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored by third-party processors only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction or maintain your active subscription. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. For more insight, we recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policies of Thinkific, Patreon, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and Afterpay directly.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the operational services they provide to us (such as video security via VdoCipher, email delivery via CCM, and processing analytics). However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled. International Transfers; Because the Company utilizes US-based infrastructures (including server networks, financial institutions, and communication tools), your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other global jurisdictions. By using our sites and materials, you consent to this cross-border data transfer. Links; When you click on links on our website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take strict precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. If you provide sensitive information during checkout, the data is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and processed with industry-standard AES-256 encryption. While no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we ensure all underlying service providers strictly adhere to PCI-DSS requirements.
SECTION 7 - COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We collect cookies and similar tracking technologies (pixels, beacons, and scripts) to track your active session, verify your device, prevent account sharing, and customize website content for you. We also use tracking pixels and cookies to attribute visits to our websites from third-party advertising networks and to serve hyper-targeted ads via Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other third-party vendors based on your interaction with our platforms. Opting Out: You can opt out of targeted ads served via specific third-party vendors by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Opt-Out page or adjusting your individual browser settings to reject cookies. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals, our data collection practices remain unchanged upon detecting a DNT signal.
SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT & ELIGIBILITY
The Company’s Sites and Materials are strictly intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If an account is found to be created by an individual under 18, we reserve the right to immediately terminate access or deactivate the account profile in accordance with platform constraints.
SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date below so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If our company or assets are acquired or merged with another entity, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to deliver courses, materials, and updates to you.
